DX Adventures with W0GJ
Glenn Johnson, W0GJ, has been on four Dxpedtions to #2 Most Wanted entities (Heard Island, Bhutan, Andaman and Lakshadweep). He is a member of the CQ Magazine Amateur Radio Hall of Fame and recipient of the 2004 ARRL International Humanitarian Award. He helped bring amateur radio into the Kingdom of Bhutan and helped license the first group of Bhutanese hams. He also taught orthopedic surgery to the Bhutanese physicians. He will entertain you with his home state of Minnesota (what it is like to live where the winter temperatures can be -50C) and the 2007 VU7RG Dxpedition to Lakshadweep.
BS7H Scarborough Reef
Few DXers will dispute that Scarborough Reef is the most controversial DXCC entity on the list! Thanks to diplomatic spats between its two feuding masters, the Philippines and China, "the rocks" have been activated only three times in the past. No wonder this entity was at the top of the DXCC most-wanted list for so many years.
BS7H operators 9V1YC and N6MZ will entertain you with an outstanding video presentation, and perhaps share some of the "insider information" that made BS7H 2007 such a fascinating adventure.
