A visit to Icom's Wakayama factory, home of the IC-7800. Icom is the only ham radio equipment manufacturer listed in the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
 

A tour of Nipponbashi, Osaka's answer to Akihabara. Electronics stores galore, where you'll find just about any radio, PC, parts, and more.

Nara was Japan's capital in the 8th century. You will see the largest and oldest wooden buildings in the world.

Osaka International House has ample facilities to allow for several programs to be conducted simultaneously. I-House stages not only amateur radio event, but also those for introducing Japanese culture, such as cooking classes, tea celemony, flower arranging. It's also the location of the I-House permanent club station.
