Meet IC-7850 in our ICOM factory tour

At the Tokyo Ham Fair in August, 2014, ICOM introduced their brand new flagship HF transceiver. The IC-7850 replaces the IC-7800, which has been in the market for more than ten years.
After touring the ICOM Wakayama factories, we'll drop in the ICOM head office in Osaka for a Q&A session with ICOM's CEO JA3FA and their HF equipment development engineers. There you can try out the brand new IC-7850 before it becomes available in the market. Only 150 units are planned to be produced for the entire world market. Don't miss the chance to try out the IC-7850!

Special hotel rate   Visa to Japan

Hotel International House Osaka is located in the same building as the APDXC 2014 venue. Earlier this year, the hotel was renovated and will provide you with a comfortable stay. Arrangements have been made for you to enjoy special low rates at the hotel. For details, please see the hotel page in our web site.
For those visitors who require a visa to enter Japan, please contact us by email. We can provide you with the necessary documents to join us at APDXC 2014.
What's the bus tour this year?

Day 2 of the APDXC starts with a bus tour.
In 2010 we went to Uji in the heart of tea country to experience making our very own high-quality green tea and participated in a tea ceremony. In 2012 we toured a sak? brewery and scotch whiskey distiller. In 2014 we're going on a new and different exciting bus tour!
If you've spent any time in Japan, you will have noticed the displays of food models at the entrance of many restaurants and wondered how they were made. We'll visit a factory to see how the realistic wax models are made, and you can make our own food model to take home with you.
You can find instant noodles anywhere in the world now. The world's first instant noodles were made in Osaka in 1958. We'll visit the Cupnoodles Museum where you can create your one-of-a-kind ramen.
